A scheme to provide a free of charge spare lamp and a three year De-Re warranty with every projector has proved so popular with colleges and universities that Optoma has extended this right through to the end of March 2015.
Nick Price, Optoma’s Territory Manager, said: “The free lamp scheme was due to expire this month but our public sector customers asked us to extend the programme to cover the February shutdown period. So, we extended it to the end of March for schools and universities to take advantage of the offer until the end of the financial year.”
The free lamps are available while stocks last on six of Optoma’s professional installation models: EH500, EH501, EH503, EH505, X605 and W505.
The models vary in terms of resolution, speaker strength, connectivity and throw ratio but their impressive brightness (4,700-6,000 lumens) ensures they are perfect for bright classrooms, lecture theatres, boardrooms and auditoriums. They all have lens shift and zoom which makes installation easy when replacing existing projectors.
All models have full 3D capabilities and can be monitored and controlled remotely via RJ45 with full support for CrestronRoomView®, Extron, AMX, PJ-Link and Telnet.
Justin Halls, Head of Product Management at Optoma, commented: “Our projectors use DLP® technology which ensures the projectors retain their out-of-the-box image quality and brightness throughout their lifetime and, as there are no filters to remove and clean, they need less maintenance. This easy maintenance and remote management functionality are especially important for our education customers who may have a dozen or more projectors to monitor and maintain.
“But in the unlikely event it is found to be faulty, the three-year De-Re warranty means the projector will be de-installed and replaced. Optoma’s dedicated UK-based helpline is also on hand for questions and queries on projectors.”
