Smart VueMagic™ app allows presenters to roam free

Businesspeople, lecturers and teachers now have more freedom to present from the Optoma ProScene projectors X501, W501 and EH501 thanks to the Pixelworks VueMagic™ app.

 

The trio of bright professional installation projectors are now compatible with the app. This smart app is designed for mobile presenting from a smartphone or tablet and is free to download for both Android and iOS devices.

 

Optoma’s Head of Product Marketing, Justin Halls, said: “VueMagic™ gives presenters the freedom to move around the room, share ideas and connect with an audience like never before.  This creates a more collaborative experience for everyone. This smart app also enables any mobile device’s touch screen to browse, flick between slides and pinch-to-zoom. What’s more, no upgrade is required to the projector - so customers who already have these projectors can use the app as well as new customers.”

 

Designed for large venues, lecture theatres, auditoriums and conference rooms, Optoma’s compatible projectors are ideal for mobile presenting.  The ProScene X501, W501 and EH501 boast a high brightness of 4,500-5,000 lumens, excellent connectivity, optional wireless capability and amazing colours.  The wireless features of these projectors are enabled when used in conjunction with the Optoma WU5205 Mini Wifi dongle (sold separately).

 

 

Mobile video streaming

The VueMagic™app can be used in conjunction with a mobile device’s camera to stream live images directly to a projector, instantly turning it into a portable visualise.  This is ideal for sharing ideas with larger groups.

 

Emphasise the key points

VueMagic™ can also be used to annotate directly onto a presentation in multiple colours, either freehand or using the tools provided.
