New 1080p business projector to energise business presentations

Business presentations can now be brighter, clearer and super sharp with the launch of Optoma’s new high resolution 1080p projector – the DH1008.

Optoma’s Nick Price said: “People expect high definition imagery at home but have previously settled for a lower resolution for the office.  Technology has developed so much that businesses can now have the perfect picture quality at an affordable price.”

The DH1008 is part of Optoma’s business range of projectors and boasts a brightness rating of 2,800 ANSI lumens, which is ideal for use without dimming the lights.  And because of this brightness and its light weight (2.45kg), it is extremely flexible for either easy installation or presentations on the move.

This Full 3D high definition projector also has a powerful built-in speaker, which is unusual for business projectors but means presentations or films can be played with exceptional sound quality. Despite the small dimensions of the projector, the level of audio created will easily fill an office space. An audio output is also included, enabling connection to external sound systems.

Easy connectivity

Two HDMI inputs allow the DH1008 to be simultaneously connected via HDMI to PCs, Blu-ray players or digital television set top boxes. This makes switching between sources literally the push of a button. It can even be turned into a smart projector by connecting a smartphone or tablet with a single cable using MHL to view presentations and documents, stream videos and share photos on the big screen.

Full 3D

The DH1008 can display true 3D content from almost any 3D source, including 3D Blu-ray players, 3D broadcasting and the latest generation games consoles. Support for 144Hz rapid refresh rate provides ultra-smooth flicker free images.
