London, 1 December 2010 – The new HD67N projector updates the already popular HD67 by including full support for NVIDIA® 3D Vision™. The NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ technology is a combination of Graphics Processor Units (GPU), specialised 3D glasses and software that transforms hundreds of PC games to full stereoscopic 3D for immersive gaming on the big screen.
“NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ technology is the icing on the cake for this already impressive home entertainment projector” said Justin Halls, Head of Product Management at Optoma Europe. “Awesome gaming credentials; 3D stereoscopic PC gaming, 120Hz 2D PC gaming for serious frame rate performance and support for the coming 3D-XL 3D Projector Adaptor enabling 3D gaming with the PS3 and Xbox make this the gaming projector of choice.”
“NVIDIA are delighted Optoma have continued their long line of superb home cinema projectors with the HD67N; it truly brings the big screen 3D experience to your home” said Ben Berraondo, EMEAI GeForce PR Manager at NVIDIA, “3D Vision on the HD67N really makes films, photos and in particular, games come to life. Once you have tried 3D, it’s hard to go back!”
The HD67N is also fully compatible with the Optoma 3D-XL (available in January 2011), a 3D projector adapter that adapts existing DLP® 3D capable projectors enabling them to display 3D broadcast signals such as Sky 3D in the UK, 3D Blu-ray players and 3D games from the Sony® PS3. The 3D-XL simply connects between a 3D source and the HD67N projector for life-size 3D gaming and movies.
This compact HD ready projector transforms any living room into a home cinema using the latest projector technology. It combines bright 2000 ANSI Lumens with perfectly balanced colour rendition and incredible light and shade detail only possible with an exceptional 400:1 ANSI Contrast ratio/4000:1 Peak Contrast Ratio.
Native 720p (HD Ready) resolution is perfect for sharp, detailed images. Since most movies are shot at 24 frames per second (FPS), the HD67N maintains the purity of the original image by accepting HD sources at 24 FPS preserving the image as the director intended.
Indeed, so confident is Optoma of its picture quality that its unique guarantee warrants image and colour quality will remain as new for at least five years.
The Optoma HD67N projector is available now from selected UK retailers and online stores, priced at £599.99 Inc. VAT.
