London, 26th September 2011 – Experience the ultimate in big screen 3D gaming with the new Optoma GT750 projector. It’s the complete package with a HD Ready 720p resolution, Full 3D technology, short throw lens and 10W speakers. The GT750 is capable of producing life-size 3D games, movies and live sports.
Designed for use with today’s top 3D games consoles and gaming PCs, the GT750 home entertainment projector delivers a massive 3D experience right into your living room. The integrated 3D-XL technology allows the GT750 to connect to all these devices without the need for additional hardware. Combining specialist optics with bright images, crystal clarity and exceptional light and shade detail.
Directly compatible with 3D broadcast signals such as Sky 3D, Blu-ray 3D™ players and 3D games from the Sony® PS3and Microsoft Xbox®360; the GT750 generates greater than 100” 3D projected images to create an experience that is not possible with the smaller screen of a 3D TV. Larger images will fill your peripheral vision, emphasising the effect of 3D and maintaining the utmost image clarity with a 720p resolution. The integrated 3D-XL technology allows the GT750 to connect to all these devices without the need for additional hardware.
The GT750 has a “short-throw” lens, which means you can get up to a 120” image from less than 2 metres away. Having the projector closer to the screen leaves more space to move around when playing the Nintendo Wii, Xbox Kinect and PlayStation®3 Move and eliminates the shadow that might have made your motion-controlled gaming impossible. Motion-controlled gaming aside, having a short throw lens also allows you to watch films and sport in rooms that would have previously not been able to facilitate a large projected image size.
The GT750 has 3500 ANSI lumens of brightness providing enough light for gaming even in a room with ambient lighting. Designed to be used in the same way as your conventional TV, the high brightness of the GT750 can be used for television and film watching on a frequent basis.
As most movies are shot at 24 frames per second (FPS), the GT750 preserves the purity of the original image by accepting HD sources at 24 FPS ensuring the image is shown as the director intended.
Powerful 10 Watt stereo speakers are built into the GT750, which make spontaneous film screenings and gaming sessions either at home, or at a friend’s house really convenient; extremely portable in comparison to other AV solutions. Though, you’re not limited to 10W, with an Audio Out connection you can hook the GT750 up to a subwoofer and add that extra bass essential for replicating a cinema experience.
Featuring a full range of analogue and digital inputs, including two HDMI inputs with full v1.4a 3D support, 3D setup is simple with the GT750. There are no additional 3D adapters required to produce a 3D display, as Full 3D technology is built into the unit as standard. You will however need a 3D source and some 3D content, for example: Sony® PS3 with 3D firmware downloaded and a 3D game.
The GT750 is available in two formats and will be available from selected retailers priced at:
1. RRP £559.99 inc. VAT - GT750 (projector only)
2. RRP £599.99 inc. VAT - GT750-XL (includes one pair of ZD201 3D glasses)
