London, 12 March 2012 – Worldwide leader in the DLP projector market, Optoma today announces the new EX784 XGA projector, further developing the Optoma range of projectors for large venues and conference rooms. The Optoma EX784 incorporates a Texas Instruments Dark Chip 3™ technology DMD chip capable of fully exploiting the latest BrilliantColor™ enhancements. Indeed, so confident is Optoma of its picture quality that bright colours and fantastic image quality are guaranteed for 5 years after purchase.
Justin Halls, Head of Product Management at Optoma Europe commented: “The EX784 is designed for situations where it is essential to give the brightest presentation, whilst still maintaining crystal-clear and impressively detailed images. Ideal for large venues, the EX784 will ensure the very best impression whilst giving presentations and displaying media.”
Once installed, the Optoma EX784 is easy to manage with Crestron Roomview ™ compatibility, a custom configurable interface to monitor, manage and control every device in every room remotely via a network. In addition the EX784 includes Dynamic Discovery AMX protocol for easy installation in AMX control systems.
A full set of connections including an audio capable HDMI port, VGA loop-through and dedicated component video inputs ensure that the EX784 will perform seamlessly in almost any multimedia situation.
In ECO mode, the EX784 lamp has an outstanding life of 3000 hours, lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) and coupled with our “filter-free design” ensures virtually free maintenance and reduced ownership costs.
Optoma is a world leader in supplying projectors to the industry with <1 watt power consumption in standby mode. The EX784 not only delivers reduced running costs, but reinforces the Optoma commitment to “environmentally friendly” features such as timer control functions and fast shutdown and start-up.
