Optoma Announces an Exciting New Partnership with Digital Home Distributor Computers Unlimited

London, 26thJanuary 2012 – Optoma, a world leading manufacturer of DLP projectors has today announced an exciting new partnership with Computers Unlimited (CU), Europe’s #1 distributor specialising in products and accessories for everything Apple, the digital home, and creative professionals. The agreement involves the distribution of the ThemeScene product range, Optoma’s Premium home cinema brand and the Optoma range of home entertainment projectors.

 

Commenting on the agreement, Nick Price, UK, Ireland and Eastern EuropeTerritory Manager at Optoma said “CU’s Digital Home Division now offers a very compelling product portfolio and we are delighted to be able to offer our premium ThemeScene home cinema range to their customers. CU will also leverage its strength in the consumer market to create additional opportunities for Optoma with particular focus in our new Full 3D HD projectors.”

 

The latest products to be distributed by CU include the ThemeScene HD87 reference 1080p projector, and the award-winning Full 3D ThemeScene HD83 (AV Forums Recommended, December 2011) and HD33 (What HiFi? Sound and Vision: 5 stars, December 2011). The Optoma range of home entertainment projectors also features the new HD23 high brightness full HD projector with 2500 ANSI Lumens for viewing any time of day. CU will also distribute Optoma’s range of motorised 16:9 screens and ceiling mounts for resellers that want a single source solution .
