Optoma NuForce brings reference quality earphones to the UK with Primo8

Music fans, gamers and commuters across the UK will soon be able to get reference-class quality sound with Optoma’s multi-award winning Nuforce Primo8 earphones. The earphones, which won several awards when they were launched in the US last year, will be rolled out across the UK in May.

The Primo8 earphones are designed for people that care about sound. Like professional large speakers, the Primo8 features patent-pending crossover technology for high resolution audio. The four balanced armature drivers in each earphone deliver incredibly spacious, detailed sound regardless of the device to which they are connected. The Primo8 cable is constructed from seven individual silver cores for superior sound quality and Kevlar^® silk for exceptional strength.

With exceptional acoustic design, superior quality components and an ultra-lightweight and durable chassis, the Primo8’s offer a substantial upgrade from most earphones. Supporting a wide frequency response of 18Hz - 22kHz, the earphones produce the range necessary for high resolution sound that extends from the deepest bass to the highest note. The Primo8’s resin shell and metal inner layer also prevents micro-dynamic vibrations to achieve the ultimate musical reproduction.

The casing design ensures premium comfort and the ear hangers on the Primo8 can be shaped precisely for each individual ear. This means the earphones stay secure when moving around.

The Primo8’s tangle-free cable is equipped with quick-snap connection to the earpieces and can be replaced or upgraded in seconds. It includes a smartphone compatible inline remote and mic, allowing the user to pause or skip tracks and answer and end calls with one-touch ease.

For maximum comfort, two types of earbuds are included in a range of sizes to ensure a snug, slip-free fit. These include Comply™ soft silicon earbuds which shape themselves to fit perfectly in the ear canal, offering superior isolation from noise and creating incredible bass response. They also come with a luxury carry case for added convenience.

The Primo8 earphones make an ideal partner for the HA200 high performance headphone amp. Engineered for music enthusiasts, the HA200 offers more accurate sound with increased detail and fatigue-free listening at higher volume levels.

The new Primo8 earphones form part of Optoma NuForce’s mobile audio range which includes the NE750M and NE800M earphones, launched last month.
